I was intimidated looking at the pics and reviews of super-ripped folks vs myself never having been a regular at a gym and needing (as my wife put it) to convert some fluff to tuff. The seriousness of the clientele, the gym’s brand attitude of not going halfway and the high reviews are exactly why I chose Elite. Why go to a gym without any examples of what I’m aiming for?
I signed up and have been going (with training) for a while now. Turns out it’s owned and run by some great folks who really have your back. Big win in my book!

Best gym in the Lake Norman area. Steel will make you strong! I like to go early in the AM, so the 24 hr access is great. Don't be intimidated. Nobody looks down on you, only encourages you. I watch the trainers push their clients and see results. Best gym move I've made in along time.
Very clean and organized gym, never too busy and the staff is on point. I’ve been a member of many gyms in the area and even worked at a few but nothing tops Elite fitness. Big shout out to Jamar who runs the front most of the time he is very friendly and has became a friend. I would recommend this gym to anyone!
This is my 2nd stint as a member of Elite and it’s even better running it back. Wonderful community of fitness/bodybuilding/general health enthusiasts who are engaging and devoted to achieving their goals! Def a focus on weight training in terms of the equipment offering, but there is cardio for sure and three stair climbers (H’Ville) If you’re looking to take your fitness to the next level - you’ll be hard pressed to find a better gym in the area!!
Zero stars if it was an option. Good luck if you need to cancel this gym. mMy husband has been trying to cancel this for three months with their stupid Peak Payment Solutions. They are rude, and keep dragging review of the documentation so they keep on charging money even after my husband provide proof of relocation to another state. They charged a settlement fee to cancel and never sent the cancelation email, then saying now he hasn't canceled at all. Fraud!!!
Previously had membership at PF. Never looking back. This has been the best gym experience. Great, affordable, old school vibe with excellent equipment for no BS serious weight training - and never overcrowded. Staff is friendly and clientele are courteous. 24/7 access is a bonus as I often work out late nights. Highly recommend Elite Fitness.
Absolutely love this gym!! Visiting NC & training here on the weekends (40 min drive from where I’m staying). Great atmosphere, music, & peeps. Highly highly recommend!! A plethora of leg equipment.
Sad tomorrow morning is my last training there. Will definitely be back.
